How do I plea not guilty?

A plea of not guilty means that you are informing the court that you deny guilt or that you have a defense in your case, and that the State must prove what it has charged against you. To Plea Not Guilty you may do one of the following:

  1. Fill out the Not Guilty Form on The City of Beaumont website.
  2. Fill out the Not Guilty Form on The City of Beaumont website.
    • Mail the signed form to:
      Beaumont Municipal Court
      P.O. Box 3827
      Beaumont, TX 77704
  3. Fill out the Not Guilty Form on The City of Beaumont Website.
    • Place the Form in the Night Deposit Box Located on the Forsythe side of the Beaumont Municipal Court.
  4. Appear before the Judge on your set Court date, or any of the court times listed:
    • Monday through Friday: 8 am.
    • Monday through Thursday: 1 pm
