BPD Detectives have obtained warrants on 6 suspects in connection with multiple shootings in the 4300 block of Fonville that occurred on October 29 (injuring two children) and November 4 (see original press releases below).
Detectives have continued to investigate these cases with the assistance of ATF and tips from Crime Stoppers. The investigations are on-going as it is believed that additional suspects and charges may be forthcoming. All of the suspects listed below have warrants for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and Owens has an additional warrant for Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Ricki Bernard Slone, 19 year old Beaumont resident.
Charles Edward Barlow, 18 year old Beaumont resident.

Eric Lee Gerard, 19 year old Beaumont resident.

Dearius Keshawn Owens, 26 year old Beaumont resident.
Tristan Elijah Williams, 24 year old Beaumont resident.
Khalil Malik Bradley-Harris, 20 year old Beaumont resident. (Arrested on 12/6/22).

On Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 9:40 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to a residence in the 4300 block of Fonville in reference to a victim of a shooting. When Officers arrived on scene they located an 8 year old male and a 16 year old female each suffering from a gunshot wound. Preliminary investigation has revealed that multiple people where inside the residence when they heard gunshots outside, then discovered that the two children (who were also inside) where shot. No one was able to provide any information about the suspect or suspects. Both children were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Another residence in the 4300 block of Fonville was also struck by gunfire but no one was injured. The investigation is on-going.

Friday November 4, 2022 at 9:59am Officers responded to the area of Woodrow and Fonville in reference to shots fired. The investigation led to a home in the 4300 block of Fonville. Witnesses advised a silver vehicle with an unknown number of passengers drove down the 4300 block of Fonville firing numerous rounds toward the house. A 26 year old Beaumont man was struck by one of the rounds and transported to the hospital by private auto with non life threatening injuries. Four of the neighboring houses were hit by bullets during the incident. Someone inside the home that was being shot at returned fire toward the silver vehicle and struck houses across the street.
Investigators believe this incident is related to the shooting involving two juvenile victims Saturday, October 29, 2022.
Officers were able to locate video and are asking for information about the silver car and a maroon SUV that is believed to be driven by a female “lookout”.
