Surplus Auction for the City of Beaumont Starts Tomorrow – Anyone Can Bid
The City of Beaumont will be holding an online surplus auction from Wednesday, August 17 at 10 am until Wednesday, August 31 at 10 am. View and bid on items at www.renebates.com.
Bidders are invited to view all items in-person at the item location or online at www.renebates.com. In the search bar, type “City of Beaumont” to see all available surplus auction items. To view items up for auction in-person, please call or email the designated contact for that location, which can be found in the item’s description on the auctioneer’s website.
Some of the items up for auction include a 2008 Takeuchi Excavator, 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, and a 2021 Top Hat Trailer. All items are sold AS IS. Detailed pictures and full descriptions of each item can be seen on the auctioneer website.
All surplus auctions hosted by the city are available to the public, and bids are accepted from anyone. If you would like to bid on an item, you must pre-register as a bidder on the Rene’ Bates website, and you may be required put down a small deposit.
All winning bids must be paid through the Rene’ Bates website. Winners will have until September 7th to pay for items, and until September 15th to retrieve their items and will be responsible for bringing any equipment needed to move the items. Title transfers and Bill of Sales will be handled by the City of Beaumont Purchasing Department.
Auctions are typically held twice a year, in August and in March, and include a wide variety of items from different city departments. You never know what will be available, so make sure to check each auction when it is posted.
