A second draft of the proposed redistricting map has been added as an additional option. The change occurs in Voting Precinct 5 where all residences west of E. Caldwood Drive would go back into Ward 2 (Calder Ave. being the northern boundary and the Railroad track being the southern boundary).
The City is currently undergoing the process of Redistricting which is required by law to be evaluated every ten years upon completion of the census to reflect changes in the population and demographic data.
There are two proposed maps which will be discussed and potentially voted on at Public Hearings during the City Council Meetings on 7/26 and 8/2 (1:30 PM at City Hall). Join Us and let the Council members hear your thoughts.
