On Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 5:49 a.m. Beaumont Police responded to The Woodlands Apartments, located at 3150 West Cardinal Drive in reference to a disturbance.
During the encounter, an officers weapon discharged striking him in the leg. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. BPD is not actively searching for anyone at this time. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
