(July 7, 2021 - Beaumont, Texas) After an outbreak of feline parvo at Beaumont Animal Care, the facility is
ready to resume cat intake. Thanks to a local rescue pulling all exposed cats, the staff was able to disinfect and clean both cat rooms in an orderly manner. Beaumont Animal Care will resume normal cat intake on July 13th, 2021. The animal control officers will be responding to all TNR, stray, and injured cat calls. To schedule an appointment to surrender a cat, call the shelter at (409)838-3304 for more information. Please note there is a $50 surrender fee for owned cats.
The Stars, Stripes, and Fur adoption event was also a huge success with 6 adoptions and 28 animals pulled by rescue.
