The Community Service Program provides an alternative payment method to defendants who may have insufficient resources or income to pay the fine and court costs assessed by the Beaumont Municipal Court.
Cases heard by the Beaumont Municipal Court are Class C criminal misdemeanor violations that are punishable by fine only. Jurors are randomly selected from voter registration lists. If selected, jury service is normally for one day.
