Owner Surrender
Please note: Owner surrenders are done by appointment only.
- The only City of Beaumont residents may surrender an owned animal to Beaumont Animal Care.
- A photo ID is required to surrender an owned animal.
- Beaumont Animal Care does not accept owner-surrendered animals on Saturday.
- Beaumont Animal Care does not accept owner-surrendered animals after 4:30 pm.
- All fees must be paid in order for Beaumont residents to surrender an animal.
- To surrender a pet, dogs must be leashed and cats must be in a carrier or secured ventilated container.
Stray Surrender
- Only stray animals found within Beaumont city limits may be surrendered to Beaumont Animal Care.
- Beaumont Animal Care does not accept stray surrenders on Saturday. Beaumont Animal Care does not accept stray surrenders after 4:30 pm.
Owner Requested Euthanasia
Beaumont Animal Care does not offer owner-requested euthanasia. However, owners may still surrender their animals to Beaumont Animal Care upon paying the required fees.

- What is included in an adoption?

Your adopted pet will receive its first set of vaccinations, first deworming, 1 month of flea treatment, will be spayed/ neutered, and microchipped.
- What kinds of animals does the shelter adopt out?

We have cats and dogs always looking for forever homes. On occasion, we even get in rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chickens, goats, and other small farm life that are placed up for adoption.
- What are Beaumont Animal Care's business hours?

We are open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm. And Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm.
