Overview

With a rich and vivid history, the Beaumont Public Library is comprised of six locations. There are four circulating libraries: the Theodore Johns Library, the Elmo Willard Library, the R.C. Miller Library, and the Beaumont Public Library, along with the Tyrrell Historical Library and Archives and the Maurine Gray Literacy Center.

Positioned around the City of Beaumont to maximize usage by the citizens, the library system circulates more than 350,000 items a year. Most of the libraries are open Monday through Saturday except for the Beaumont Public Library, and the Maurine Gray Literacy Depot which are open Monday through Friday.

With over 50 staff members, the library prides itself on providing exemplary customer service to all that come to the libraries.

We offer an assortment of items for checkout including:

  • Magazines
  • and much more!

The libraries also offer internet access through public computing stations and wireless access, as well as printing and copying services.
